The baby to come...

We found out yesterday we’re having a girl! Sylas was rooting for a brother, and was upset when we first told him. Today, though, he wanted to watch “the baby movie,” and when he saw her face through the 4D ultrasound, he smiled and said “I like her now.” We’ll see how that goes, but at least it’s progress for now.

Prepping for Spring

Exciting things are happening here in anticipation of spring. I’ve made new bags from PVC-free 100% urethane—they’ll be posted this week! I’ve used beautiful rich colors, and the fabric is super soft.
Also, I’m busy sewing for the Odd Duck Bazaar in Davie, FL on March 27. This will be the first road trip for Slaughterhead in quite a while, and I’m super excited. I’m going with a gal pal who’s from West Palm Beach, so it should be quite an adventure. It will also be one of the last few trips I can take... read more

Valentine's Day Items

New whatnot pouches were just created and added to the site for this season of love. I found some really cute heart-print bedding and used it for the linings on the pouches. Needless to say, they are very limited edition, and would make very cute tokens of love for special people in your life. A small whatnot pouch filled with a piece of jewelry, or a delicious sweet treat would be even better! Also, for those still recovering from the holidays, all the heart-lined pouches are $4 off!

Happy New Year!

The start of a new year, especially of a new decade, seems to be the perfect time to get started….so here we go!
I don’t think I’ve ever really made resolutions, but upon reflecting on the past 10 years, I have to say it’s all gone by so fast, and there are too many times that are fuzzy in my memory already. I definitely have milestones, but I’ve decided that documentation is my word and mindset for this new year. I want to remember what’s going on in my daily life.
